SYNOPSIS

They’re rebels, scoundrels, and blackguards—dark, dashing men on the wrong side of the law. But for the women who love them, a hint of danger only makes the heart beat faster…

STEALING BEAUTY
Dorian Blackwell, the Blackheart of Ben More, is a ruthless villain. Scarred and hard-hearted, Dorian is one of London’s wealthiest, most influential men who will stop at nothing to wreak vengeance on those who’ve wronged him…and will fight to the death to seize what he wants. The lovely, still innocent widow Farah Leigh Mackenzie is no exception—and soon Dorian whisks the beautiful lass away to his sanctuary in the wild Highlands…

COURTING DESIRE
But Farah is no one’s puppet. She possesses a powerful secret—one that threatens her very life. When being held captive by Dorian proves to be the only way to keep Farah safe from those who would see her dead, Dorian makes Farah a scandalous proposition: marry him for protection in exchange for using her secret to help him exact revenge on his enemies. But what the Blackheart of Ben More never could have imagined is that Farah has terms of her own, igniting a tempestuous desire that consumes them both. Could it be that the woman he captured is the only one who can touch the black heart he’d long thought dead?

REVIEW

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. But I'm sticking to 5+ amazing stars that made me fell in love with this writer.

Farah and Dorian have a special love story. Farah was in love once, but it ended tragically. And now she gets another chance, but this time with no other than the infamous Dorian Blackwell, who isn't entirely known for his goodness, like Farah is. But he doesn't scare her. In fact, she finds him intriguing. And so does he, but he just doesn't want to admit to her that she can get under his skin like no one else can.

Farah doesn't stop going after him. She doesn't stop until she wants him to be hers completely, but there are some things she doesn't know and some things he's hiding from her that haunt him.

When Farah falls in love with Dorian, he can't believe her. He's so used to be alone all the time that he convinced himself no one would care for him, especially when he's full of scars.

It's not easy to win Dorian Blackwell over, but what Farah doesn't know is that he has been hers for a long time now.

This book is truly nothing like other historical romance. This one is sexy, wicked and fearless. You'll truly have a hard time putting it down. And the sex scenes are probably the best ones I've ever read in a book. Hell, the author can write about a kiss one few pages so you can only imagine how descriptive it is.
