I finally did it. I caved into reading this book after seeing the good reviews about it literally everywhere. And let me tell you ... It was worth it. This was ... intense. And so damn hot it left you panting.
I swear, when I picked this book up, it completely consumed me and pulled me in. I just couldn't put it down anymore and I read it in one sitting.
Liam Black is the ultimate alpha man. Hot, possessive and just doesn't take no for an answer.
And Tru ... Tru is a badass. She's not scared to tell Liam Black no and she doesn't back down until she gets what she wants and how she wants it. This book had this push and pull effect and that made it so much more interesting because Tru just didn't cave in that easily.
But, oh God, the attraction between those two ... Out of the world! The sexual tension was intense. And the actual sex scenes? Uh, hell yeah! This is one of the books that make all that build-up worth it at the end.
I don't have anything else to say other than I enjoyed every second, every page, every word of this book. It was fantastically written with so much chemistry between the characters it blew your mind away.
So, yes. The other reviews on this book didn't lie. The smut was fantastic, the writing was amazing and the characters were pure gold.
Expect the review of the second book in this series soon because I completely devoured this book, so I can only hope the next one will be at least half as good when we get to meet Liam's identical twin.
