REVIEW

This must be one of the best books I've read. I have to say I don't read much of NA books, but this one did not disappoint.

The book is about Ruby and James who come from two very different worlds. Ruby is a very good student who has everything organised. She has a dream and a vision she follows religiously and she doesn't let anything or anyone come in the way. She works hard, but she has this bad luck that she sees something that she shouldn't.

And that's how she meets James. James is the king of Maxton Hall. He comes from a very rich family that owns a luxurious men's clothing store in London. His parents have his life already figured out to the T and he only has to follow their orders and do exactly as they say. When he meets Ruby, a girl who doesn't know how things go in his world, he's surprised and relieved. For the first time in his life, there's someone who wants to know about his dreams and what he wants. She's interested in knowing him and not his money and fame.

He doesn't know how to react. James is used to people using him, he's used to being the playboy and a party boy. He didn't imagine himself having a relationship because it's hard for him to trust anyone.

It's easy with Ruby. It comes so naturally and he can't help falling for her - hard and fast.

But his friends are a different kind and they don't understand the changes in him. His family absolutely doesn't approve of someone like Ruby. They want him to marry someone who comes from a rich and well-known family so he can take over their family company with.

The pressure is too much for him and he finally caves under it.

The ending of this book left me on the edge of the seat from wanting more. Their story is far from done and all these ups and downs were only a beginning for them.

This was an absolutely amazing read from this German author. I loved all the twists and the drama and I especially loved the undeniable chemistry between Ruby and James. This books will definitely make your heart skip a few beats here and there.

I absolutely adored Ruby's character. She's so nice, so organised and such a forgiving person. She knew how to keep James on his toes and his head in the right place.

I simply can not wait to read the continuation.
