Jax has to win the competition to help his sister, but soon sparks fly between Jax and Dale. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this novella. Even though this is just a short story, there's a lot going on in it.
I loved the characters! Jax was this amazing charmer who's smart as hell. Being a fighter just puts on to his appeal and sexiness.
Dale was funny and strong, which mostly came from her having eight brothers. Yes, eight. They were all on a mission, going after Jax, which made Dale and Jax become close again.
This story was a quick, light read with a happy ending about two people giving love a second chance. The writing, of course, was amazing as always. Tijan has a way with words and it's hard not to love everything that has her name on it.
