When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn’t know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me.

I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn't stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted—I knew who I wanted—until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.

And then what it was like to lose it.

Ten years later, I’ve found my way back. Back to their world. Back to him.

This time, I’m ready. I've been down this road before, and I know all the dirty, filthy ways Donovan will try and wreck me.

But it’s hard to resist. Especially when I know how much I’ll like it.

This is one of those books that you know it's not the best, it's not really that good and there are so many things wrong with it, but you can't stop reading it because you're intrigued. I've wanted to read about Sabrina and Donovan's story ever since I read the book about Elizabeth and Weston. This certainly wasn't what I expected.

The story opens up with Dirty Filthy Rich Boys and it's about Sabrina's life in college. Even then, she had this obsession with Weston King. She watched him, attended parties just because of him. One night, she follows him to his room at a party where he takes a girl and sees them having sex. This is when she meets Donovan.

Donovan is her teacher's assistant. A forbidden fruit. But one she can't stop thinking about after she meets him. Donovan is an asshole, there's no denying it. He saves Sabrina that night from getting raped, but he's still disrespectful to her.

And then, later on, Weston notices her in class one time and they start talking. But Donovan steps in and he practically tells her she has to give him her virginity if she wants to have a good grade in his class. And she sleeps with him, losing her virginity to him.

Years later, they meet again. Weston offers her a job and she takes it. And this is where the story gets super weird because she sleeps with Weston and Weston has his eyes for her, but she has eyes for Donovan only.

Donovan is still an asshole. I couldn't like him, because he continued saying ugly things to Sabrina. And Sabrina took it because she thought it was hot. It wasn't. It was just disrespectful and weird. Donovan was really just an asshole and he didn't change one bit in the whole book.

And then there was this weird thing that they both had these rape fantasies they wanted to experience with each other and it was just ... weird.

One thing Donovan said to Sabrina when she went out of the club into dark night really stood out to me.

❝If you wanted to get raped, you could have just called me.❞

I'm sorry, but who in the right mind says something like this? I'm not into things like this because it's weird and this particularly sounds wrong.

But I want to read more because, as I said, this is one of those books that you just want to keep on reading because the writing is actually really good, but the story is just really weird. I hope I get to see some change in Donovan in the second book, at least.
