Not all love stories are written the same way. Ours had torn chapters, missing paragraphs, and a bittersweet ending.

Luna Rexroth is everyone’s favorite wallflower.

Sweet.
Caring.
Charitable.
Quiet.
Fake.
Underneath the meek, tomboy exterior everyone loves (yet pities) is a girl who knows exactly what, and who, she wants—namely, the boy from the treehouse who taught her how to curse in sign language.
Who taught her how to laugh.
To live.
To love.
Knight Cole is everyone’s favorite football hero.
Gorgeous.
Athletic.
Rugged.
Popular.
Liar.

This daredevil hell-raiser could knock you up with his gaze alone, but he only has eyes for the girl across the street: Luna.

But Luna is not who she used to be. She doesn’t need his protection anymore.
When life throws a curveball at All Saints’ golden boy, he’s forced to realize not all knights are heroes.

Sometimes, the greatest love stories flourish in tragedy.

I was for real crying while reading this book. Oh my God. This book made me feel so many things that I don't even know where to start. I liked this one way better than the first book in the series. Knight's story is so heartbreaking but so, so beautiful.

Knight was a very complex character with one hell of an ego - until it came to Luna. He was this popular boy that everyone respected and he built quite a reputation for himself, even though he wasn't half of the things people thought he is. But when it came to Luna, he was always a softie.

❝There were two Knight Coles. One was mine. The other everyone else's.❞

Luna was such a special character. She didn't talk and everyone gave up on her saying anything. Not Knight. He's the reason she started speaking again, although in a situation that left them both broken.

Luna, or Moonshine as Knight called her, and Knight broke each other's heart unintentionally so many times. Their love was tragic and even sad sometimes. They both weren't ready for the kind of love they felt for each other, but it couldn't just go away.

The way Knight loved Luna ... It broke my heart so many times because their love was flawed and they were both trying to move on from it, but they couldn't escape it. Wherever they went, they carried each other with them. Knight's love for Luna was unconditional, even though he didn't know how to show it to her sometimes.

❝Ride or die, Luna Rexroth. You're my ride or die.❞

Their love for each other was so big, so raw that it scared them both sometimes. And when Knight finds himself in big, big trouble, Luna is the only one that can save him. In her own way.

This book got me into feelings. It was full of heartache, caused by young love that was too misunderstood. I cried so hard reading this book because so many hearts got broken but also so many hearts got fixed, too.

This book was absolutely beautiful. Their story was perfectly imperfect and I loved it.

❝What are we, Knight?❞
❝We're everything❞
